throughout the UK thousands and thousands of tonnes of rubbish is sent to landfill sites each and everyday. With growing pressure worldwide both governmental and private companies are forced to increase the volume of recycling in order to reduce the carbon footprint. Many independent green parties pressurise the government almost on a daily basis to increase and improve the recycling process that is taking place within the UK.
With limited budgets and the consumer market that is driving prices down both local government and waste disposal companies struggle to improve solutions that will meet the demands of many.
Over the past six months I've been researching how skip hire companies throughout the UK advertise and practice ethical waste disposal and to my surprise I found almost all skip hire companies living up to their promises of increasing recycling and reducing landfill quantity of rubbish.
To pick on one region within the UK I spent a little time phoning around all of the skip hire in Birmingham companies to investigate their pricing structure and disposal policy. Unusually I was shocked that the larger companies offering nationwide skip hire services seemed to be the most switched on and informative when the discussion fell to the recycling of the waste material while some of the smaller local and independent skip hire in Birmingham companies failed to deliver the information that I was requesting, that's not to say typically all small independent skip hire companies fall into this category it was simply my findings when calling around on a specific day.
Four out of four national skip Hire companies talked me through the process that takes place once the collection of of my skip has been completed and I have to be honest taken into consideration the cost of the skip hire and semi-manual process that takes place at the recycling centres leaves me to understand why recycling processes not advancing as quickly as some of Green parties would like.
In my short experience of skip I process I think it's fair to say both government and private commercial mindset changed and possibly due to the pressure being placed upon them the waste disposal process is starting to clean up and maybe with the next 20 years we might see landfill slowly disappearing once and for all.
